My most cherished gift

It’s pink and tiny, it make my days pass quickly, it makes me feel accompanied and pleasing, it contained all the harmony inside of me. I’m just talking about my MP3 PLAYER.
I vividly remember when I first got it. It was the Christmas morning of 2010, my family was gathered around the christmas tree and I opened, as I opened my last present, feeling completely illusionated and impatient, because I knew that this last gift was the most important of all, my heart started beating really fast.
There it was, my first mp3 player,  oh! how excited I was. And now it’s once again in my hands, been used for a purpose that no one can accomplish. It has been my partner in the good and bad times, It has been with me during my travels, in the shortest and the longest ones. It gives me the comfort and sometimes, the drive to carry on. There are so many diversity of melodies and tunes, that it gives me the posibility to choose any song at a specific moment when I want it, for example, if I’m in a hell of a mood, I can pick a song that it could make me stop crying, or just simply throw away all my tears.
Everytime I go out my home, I have to always carry 4 indispensable things with me; my school pass, some money, my cellphone and of course my mp3.
It might seem that I can’t live without it, but the truth is that it’s not “that” important, I mean that there are other things in my life that are more important that a simple piece of technology, but I have to admit that, sometimes when I’m out and I don’t have it, it makes my go out really boring.

However, I have to say that my mp3 player

is the most cherished object I possess.

A kinda different artist

Lana del Rey is an American singer-songwriter and is known recently by her song “Videogames”.  I honestly don’t know much about her, because I just discovered her a few months ago. She plays a kind of indie-pop- folk kind of music, she also has influences by Britney Spears, Eminem, Elvis Presley, Anthony and the Johnsons, Frank Sinatra and Kurt Corbain, among others.  She has been described as a “self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra”.
What I like the most about Lana, is her voice and lyrics songs; her music is so deep and melodic that it makes me feel alone in every place I go, it’s like something magical!. Besides, she sings with a very calm voice, and her songs are a true reflexion of her feelings, is like she lives again everything she’s telling into her singing.
My favourite song so far is “Off to the races”; this is a song that talks about a woman that it’s in love with a very “dangerous” man, it starts like this: “My old man is a bad man, but I can’t deny the way he holds my hand and he grabs me, he has me by my heart”.
I love this song in particular ‘cause it tells a story so interest and so well written that it teletransports me right into it; also, the song has a very rithmical style and the instruments complement perfectly ‘till the end.
By now, I’m specting more songs from her, and I’ll be impatient for new awsome tracks to come out.

My life so far…

My name is Costanza Isabella Fernandez Arce, I’m 18 years old, I was born on December 19th in 1993. I live with my parents and my two brothers, Daniel and Francisca. I studied at Colegio San Viator, and graduated a year ago. I have a cute and playful 2 years rabbit, he’s white as the snow and red eyed.
This year I started studying at Universidad de Chile, in Preschool and Initial Education, and then I want to specialize in English Education. One of the main reasons I love this career is ‘cause I love children and the tenderness they give. I hope that, in the future,  when I wake up in the morning, I’ll enjoy go to work and spend the day next to little people who can give me the same amount of love that I can give to them.
When I’m boring or have nothing else to do, which is no common, I like listening to music and whatching movies, also I love taking long walks, because it relax me and gives me time to dream and think about myself.
I’m hoping that, in some time in my life, I can fall in love, raise a family and, when I’ll become a wrinkled old lady, I can look back my back and be satisfied of the life I had.
This is some part of my life, hopefully it will go on and become full of new and wonderfull experiences.
